Job Description
Hire Resolves client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mine Planner to join their dynamic mining team in Gauteng. As a Senior Mine Planner you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic and operational mine plans ensuring the efficient and safe extraction of minerals.
Responsibilities:
- Create and optimize shortterm and mediumterm mine plans
- Ensure Zero Harm culture through compliance with SHE policies standards and governance.
- Lead by example in SHE standards and operational campaigns.
- Conduct regular safety and operational inspections with prompt remediation.
- Define team roles to maintain effective performance.
- Develop rolling plans with stakeholders to align with business goals.
- Schedule resources for mining activities to meet targets.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree in Mining Engineering Mineral Resource Management or equivalent
- 2 years experience in shortterm mine planning.
- 2 years production/operation experience in a managerial position
- Extensive knowledge and experience in mine planning packages and reporting tools:Deswik Suite Syncromine XPac etc.
- Valid Drivers License
