Introduction
Our client in Pretoria is looking for a Network Technician to join their team.
Summary:
Support and maintain secure high-availability network infrastructure. Includes setup and troubleshooting of routers firewalls VPNs and wired/wireless networks across multiple environments.
Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain routers switches and firewalls
- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN VPNs and internet links
- Manage firewall rules VLANs and remote access setups
- Support cloud integrations and hybrid networking
- Document network setups and changes
- Escalate complex or critical issues appropriately
Requirements:
- Matric Diploma in Networking/IT
- 35 years hands-on networking experience
- Strong grasp of TCP/IP routing DNS DHCP VLANs
- Experience with firewalls VPNs and network monitoring tools
- Valid drivers licence; willing to travel as needed
