Job Description

Our client is looking for a qualified Sign Language Interpreter to provide interpretation services on a project-to-project basis.

  • Provide Sign Language Interpreter services on a stage or digital platform.
  • Offer full-day interpretation as required (up to a maximum of 400 hours over the 2-year contract).
  • Be available on standby and on a project-to-project or campaign basis.
  • Work in accordance with the agenda of meetings briefings or webinars.
  • Deliver services in line with SATI accreditation standards.


Requirements

  • SATI Accredited
  • Fluency in at least two South African Languages with knowledge of various dialects. One of the languages to be English.
  • More that six (6) years experience in conference and public events or platforms interpreting.
  • University undergraduate degree will be an added advantage
