Job Description
Maintenance Manager
Job Duties:
- Perform general maintenance on factory machinery and building (interior/exterior).
- Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment according to checklists and SOPs.

Implement and manage preventative maintenance plans.

Monitor fuel levels and coordinate with contractors for after-hours/weekend support.

Respond to breakdowns perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution.

Communicate major breakdowns and action plans to management.

Lead and supervise a team of maintenance staff and refrigeration technician.

Allocate shifts manage performance and provide on-the-job training.

Process and schedule all maintenance job requests inspections and hygiene checks.

Order parts/tools manage inventory and control maintenance budget and Capex planning.

Conduct monthly stock counts in maintenance storeroom and maintain the system.

Source manage and ensure compliance of external contractors on-site.

Monitor and maintain all production machinery for functionality and hygiene.

Support production team including contractors weekend and Sunday operations.

Enforce Health & Safety compliance PPE use incident reporting and emergency readiness.
Qualifications & Experience
-
3 years in food industry management and maintenance
-
5 years in refrigeration
-
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge

Matric with N3 Electrical & Mechanical
-
Refrigeration certificate (advantageous)

ISO 22000 / food safety knowledge
-
ND/BTech/BEng (advantageous)
-
GCC (in progress or completed) is an advantage
