Job Description
Are you a data-driven problem solver with a knack for translating business needs into actionable insights We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst with a strong background in both retail and financial services to join our dynamic team.
About the Role:
As our Business Analyst you ll act as the critical link between business objectives and technology solutions. Youll deliver insights that drive smarter decisions optimize performance and ultimately boost profitability.
Analyse business processes systems and data to identify improvements across retail and financial operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather document and refine business requirements.
Develop and maintain financial models forecasts and performance dashboards.
Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategic initiatives.
Translate business needs into functional specifications for development and IT teams.
Support system implementations user acceptance testing (UAT) and end-user training.
Monitor KPIs and deliver actionable insights to improve sales margins and customer experiences.
Partner with finance teams on budgeting cost analysis and reporting.
Build and manage dashboards using Power BI Tableau or similar tools.
Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years experience as a Business Analyst in retail and/or financial services.
Proficient in Excel SQL and BI tools (Power BI Tableau etc.).
Experience working with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP Oracle or Salesforce.
Solid understanding of retail metrics (e.g. sales per sq ft inventory turnover) and financial principles (e.g. P&L ROI).
Strong analytical communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficient in Excel, SQL, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
