The Lecturer and Programme Coordinator is a pivotal role that combines academic leadership programme management and teaching excellence. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering high-quality innovative education developing and coordinating multiple programmes within their field and actively participating in academic governance structures as directed by the Head of Faculty and/or Chief Academic Officer.
This position requires the development and delivery of curricula that meet regulatory requirements align with industry standards and support the institutions commitment to academic excellence. The role involves overseeing the efficient delivery of programmes fostering continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with accreditation bodies and institutional policies.
The Lecturer and Programme Coordinator will also play a critical role in shaping the academic direction of their programmes maintaining compliance with regulatory bodies and ensuring that curricula remain dynamic innovative and aligned with professional standards. This position is instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the institution.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master s Degree in Law with a proven history that establishes the candidate as a subject matter expert in the field(s).
- A PhD in the relevant field will be advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience in lecturing within higher education specifically in Law or related fields.
- Membership with any Law Society or Organisation in South Africa will be an advantage. This may include organisations such as the Law Society of South Africa.
- Experience in distance learning will be an advantage
- Proven experience in academic leadership and programme coordination.
- Experience in curriculum development and alignment with CHE regulatory frameworks.
