The Water Group is currently seeking to appoint a project officer for the Hunter Valley Flood Mitigation Scheme to undertake day to day tasks relating to supporting the management of the Hunter Valley Flood Mitigation Scheme including undertaking asset data management community engagement project management and contract management in accordance with NSW and Commonwealth legislation NSW Government and departmental policies and guidelines and asset and environmental management systems for the scheme. Contribute to the management of the Hunter Valley Flood Mitigation Scheme by supporting project and contract management management systems development asset database management community engagement monitoring project performance reporting and data collection for monitoring and reporting on outcomes achieved.
About You
You will support implementation of operational policies processes guidelines and procedures to deliver effective outcomes and to ensure consistent approaches in the management of the Hunter Valley Flood Mitigation Scheme. You will Support best practice project and contract management to facilitate review and analyse project and contract performance and effectiveness. You will assist in the implementation of Waters statutory responsibilities related to any or all Aboriginal cultural heritage biodiversity (including threatened species) and environmental planning.
