Our client is seeking a motivated Legal Advisor to support the team and advise a diverse portfolio of businesses on all aspects of South African labour law and human resources. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of industries and make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide timely and accurate advice to clients on all employment-related matters.
Draft review and edit a variety of employment documents including contracts policies and agreements tailored to each client's specific needs and culture.
Chair disciplinary and other hearings ensuring fair and logical outcomes.
Assist clients with skills development submissions and employment equity reporting.
Monitor changes in employment legislation to ensure ongoing compliance.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree.
1-2 years of post-admission experience in employment law.
Strong foundation in legal research analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage time effectively plan and organize.
A proactive results-oriented team player with strong computer literacy.
Salary: Market-related.
