Job Description
On behalf of our client a prestigious Corporate Advisory Firm in Sandton we are seeking an exceptional Associate to join their highly respected Sponsor Services team. This is a unique opportunity to become a trusted advisor to JSE-listed companies guiding them through the complexities of the JSE Listings Requirements on both major corporate transactions and their ongoing regulatory obligations.
The Role:
Your role will be central to providing expert regulatory and compliance advice. You will be deeply involved in the execution of large corporate actions and will act as a key liaison between clients the JSE and other regulators.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Advising clients on JSE Listings Requirements and ongoing compliance obligations.

Drafting and releasing JSE-related announcements (SENS).

Managing the preparation and submission of all regulatory documents to the JSE ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Providing expert guidance on corporate governance transaction structuring and execution.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and key regulators.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

You are an Admitted Attorney with a strong and consistent academic record.

You possess excellent financial acumen and strong analytical skills.

You have impeccable contract drafting skills and an exceptionally high attention to detail.
-
Your verbal and written communication skills are outstanding.
-
Experience in Banking and Finance or Corporate and Commercial will be beneficial.
