Graduate Trainee Data Analyst

Are you a graduate who enjoys working with data solving problems and making a real impact Are you looking to build a career at the intersection of finance and analytics while developing cutting-edge data skills

Join our Financial Systems and Services team as a Graduate Trainee Data Analyst and help shape the way financial data supports decisions across the University.

What youll be doing

Working alongside experienced analysts and finance professionals youll contribute to the development of dashboards and financial reporting tools that drive insight and decision-making. From visualising data in Power BI to supporting major reporting cycles and helping improve financial systems this is a role where your curiosity accuracy and problem-solving will shine.

As part of the role youll undertake a fully funded Level 7 Apprenticeship in Data Analytics (Data Analytics Specialist Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship MSc Newcastle University) building expert-level knowledge over two years with time allocated to study and mentoring from experienced colleagues.

At the end of your training there is opportunity for career progression in data finance and analytics.

Were seeking a recent graduate (minimum 2:2 Hons) who has:
