Our client is a company specialized in industrial water treatment who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Build 3D models for water treatment systems using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
Supervise the creation of general arrangement layouts and plot plans based on P&ID diagrams.
Review and prepare comprehensive BOMs and RFQs for piping structural components tanks and other mechanical elements.
Make sure all mechanical designs for piping tanks and mechanical structures meet both technical standards and layout plans.
Oversee the generation of 2D shop and isometric drawings from 3D models.
Coordinate with team members to deliver high-accuracy technical outputs within project timelines.
Take ownership of assigned design tasks and provide mentorship to junior designers.
Additional duties may be assigned during project execution and will be discussed during the interview.
Age: 28 35.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Environmental Engineering (or related).
Solid command of AutoCAD and AutoCAD Plant 3D with at least 3 years of practical experience including administrative-level use.
Hands-on experience in mechanical design for water treatment systems with working knowledge of chemical processes fluid mechanics and materials.
Skilled in interpreting P&ID drawings and translating them into engineering layouts.
Familiarity with piping systems and associated drawing standards (preferably JIS and PVC piping).
Ability to read and comprehend English-language technical documentation.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Strong leadership planning and team coordination skills.
Capable of delegating tasks reviewing outputs and ensuring design quality across the team.
Able to work independently while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong sense of responsibility quality focus and leadership potential.
Proactive learner with a passion for continuous improvement.
Prior experience working in Japanese corporate settings is a plus.
Familiar with MS Office and engineering standards for tanks piping and structural systems.
Bonus skills include experience in Advanced Steel structural simulation software or BIM tools.
