Join Us
We are seeking a skilled Project Lead for our client to assist and support their geographical expansion project into Vietnam. This will be a fulltime remote role supporting the business expansion strategies supporting and communicating with external parties developing solutions to meet the companys needs and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
About the Role
You will join a global logistics and delivery company providing warehousing and distribution service as well as customs clearance and other international service. Responsibilities
- Assist and support in the Companys business development project in the e-commerce and logistics market in Vietnam.
- Work with internal and external parties to ensure smooth market entry and expansion activities.
- Continuously observe market trends industry activities and regulatory changes to refine business development and marketing strategies.
- Build connections with suppliers agents customers and other key stakeholders in the market.
- Identify potential operational risks in the business development process and formulate effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies standard operating procedures (SOPs) and local regulations.
- Provide regular updates to the Company on - progress challenges and opportunities related to the Vietnam market.
- Review the budget and ensure it aligns with the Company s goals.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration International Business Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or business development in an international environment preferably within the international logistics sector in Vietnam or Southeast Asia
- Knowledge of Vietnams business environment legal and regulatory landscape and cultural nuances.
- Experience in prospecting negotiating and closing deals with new customers.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural international team environment.
Soft skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate the different stakeholders to participate and contribute to the project.
- Hands-on approach with a flexible mindset and the ability to adapt to changing needs.
- A proactive learner with the persistence to understand complex details.
- Results-driven customer-focused attitude.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Vietnamese; additional language skills (e.g. Mandarin or Cantonese) are a plus.
