Job Description
CONTRACT ROLE
NonNegotiable Requirements:
- 35 years technical and support experience
- Officebased with willingness to work weekends and extended hours when required
- Experience with SQL and various databases (e.g. MySQL) APIs and file transfer protocols
- Ability to understand JSON/XML
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Working understanding of Foreign Exchange and SWIFT would be beneficial
Specific Additional Experience:
- Relevant degree
- Working understanding of Foreign Exchange and SWIFT
- Proven experience with handson API integrations and technical support in a banking environment
- Knowledge of relevant internet and connectivity protocols
- Expertise in reading log files understanding traceroute and telnets
- Experience with SQL and various databases (internal and external APIs file transfers SQL queries)
- Creative and collaborative thinker with quick problemsolving abilities
- Selfstarter dependable detailoriented and time management sensitive
- Stakeholder management experience at different organizational levels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise for the banks Host to Host channels API offerings
- Offer specialist business and systems support to Corporate and Investment (C&I) banking clients to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity
- Act as a liaison between product and client engagement teams
- Resolve production queries raised by client engagement teams and ensure constant liaison with relevant stakeholders
- Troubleshoot existing integrations and provide technical support to C&I clients
- Facilitate issue resolution with technology partners and advise on system enhancements for an enhanced client experience
- Communicate product and data specifications to clients and partners as needed
- Identify process and technology opportunities to improve API service offering and drive internal efficiencies related to the banks HosttoHost platform
- Conduct system data integrity and user acceptance testing with technology platforms
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients representatives and technical specialists
- Troubleshoot network problems expertly
