Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead L3 support activities for the Retail Network ensuring optimal performance security and reliability.
- Collaborate with MNCS to address L2 activities and provide assistance with partial L3 support.
- Participate in design discussions and contribute to the development of network infrastructure plans.
- Assist with transitions migrations and upgrades as required ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Act as a point of contact for incident response troubleshooting and resolution for networkrelated issues.
- Monitor network performance and security proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations changes and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide oncall support as needed being readily available to address urgent issues.
- Liaise with vendors and thirdparty providers for escalations and technical assistance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement best practices and optimize network operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Strong experience working with Fortinet products particularly Fortigate firewalls.
- Proven experience in a seniorlevel role providing L3 support for largescale network environments.
- Proficiency in network design implementation and troubleshooting.
- Excellent understanding of network protocols routing and switching.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience with incident response procedures and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Availability to be oncall and respond to emergencies outside of regular business hours.
- Relevant certifications such as Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are preferred.
