Job Description
Minimum requirements:
- Chartered Accountant Qualification
- Must have crossborder experience (SADC)
- 15 to 20 years experience at Board level
- Strong Leader
Competencies:
- Excellent reporting skills
- Confidently able to offer recommendations and advice to the business
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Data and computer literacy
- Strong systems background.
- Ability to manage a team
- Leadership presence
Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial models for presentation at Board level and to predict outcomes
- Structuring financial deals
- Budgeting
- Ongoing exploration of automation opportunities scalability and efficiency
- Project management
- Develop new finance processes where required and create capacity within respective teams to support new processes
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and tax legislation (VAT Income tax and transfer pricing legislation)
- Work with the Group CFO and key business partners to agree on base set of reporting analytics
- Treasury and Risk Management
- Ability to analyse performance of the operation and to determine areas of potential cost reduction improvement and policy and process change
- Approving payments and granting credit
- Legal contract reviews
