Introduction
Based in Benoni Gauteng
A well-established Company is looking for an Experienced Fitter & Turner / Machinist
Duties & Responsibilities
PLEASE READ THE REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING !!!!!
The Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years experience in the following:
- Conventional Turning on Lathe
- Milling on Conventional Milling Machine
- Radial Arm Drilling Work
Tasks require accuracy in completing:
- Cutting of Shaft Keyways
- Drilling and tapping of shaft ends
- Cutting and machining shaft ends to size
- Marking and drilling of flanges.
- Fitment of motors and gearboxes to shafts.
- General maintenance on machines where required.
- Contactable references essential.
- Previous experience with stainless steel is preferable.
- Ability to read drawings and work without supervision required.
- A Work test will be required by shortlisted candidates.
Good market related Rate paid to candidate with necessary skills and experience.
