We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to support the Sales and Proposal Manager by preparing cost-effective engineered proposals and estimates for new projects retrofits and upgrades across the Sugar Paper Petrochemical and Industrial sectors.
Source enquiries from existing and new customers through site visits and maintain strong customer relationships
Review RFQs define scope of work prepare detailed cost and time estimates and compile technical and commercial proposal documents in line with company procedures
Liaise with internal departments suppliers and customers to align on project requirements and sales strategies
Review contracts or purchase orders issue order confirmations and manage handovers to the Projects Department
Conduct boiler inspections with engineers maintain the proposals database follow up on tenders and contribute to monthly sales meetings
Skills & Experience:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective time management and ability to coordinate inputs from various departments and suppliers
Competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings
Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Word and Excel
Skilled in using MS Project
Understanding of contractual terms and conditions
Familiarity with basic financial concepts
3 years experience in a project-based Engineering environment
Qualification:
BTech/BSc (preferred) or National Diploma in Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering (minimum)
