An exciting opportunity has opened up within a boutique asset management client of mine in the credit space. My client is looking for an experienced Credit Analyst within the banking or asset management credit space who is passionate about the credit and continuing their career in this area. This dynamic team have a solid track record of success and this opportunity great exposure to experienced investment professionals and future career growth potential too.
In this role youll be playing a key role in managing the full internal investment process overseeing the all the credit and risk within the funds managed. If youre looking for a change out of a corporate environment or future career growth in the credit fund space then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Monitor credit exposure assess covenants analyse management accounts and monitor portfolios for expiryand defaults
- Complete monthly risk reports for all funds
- Assist with completing forecast cash flows for all funds fortnightly
- Monitor adherence to fund mandates
- Assist with analysis of new proposed loans
- Vetcredit submissions
- Monitor adherence to investment process by all team members
- Complete calculations and reports when requested by investors
- Liaise with investors regarding their requirements
- Attend periodic feedback to investors regarding fund portfolios
Requirements:
- Minimum of CA(SA) qualified
- Minimum of 3 - 4 years corporate banking experience or credit-focused asset manager or experience as analysts alongside dealmakers
- Ability to analyst corporate credit for mid-sized businesses would be a distinct advantage
- High attention to detail
- Highly analytical and numerate
- Self-starter who is results driven
