Job Description
Resident Head & Facilitator Luxury Wine Estate (Franschhoek)
Kendrick Recruitment is recruiting for a Resident Head & Facilitator to join a luxury wine estate based in Franschhoek. On-site accommodation is provided.
Key Requirements:
Relevant education or language qualification
A BEd degree would strengthen the application
Experience as a teacher facilitator or within a student residence environment
At least three years leadership experience
Experience working with children or teenagers through teaching mentoring or youth leadership
Experience coaching life skills such as communication conflict resolution or similar competencies advantageous
Valid first aid training
Confident in handling emergencies conflict or challenging behaviour with the ability to respond calmly and fairly
Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English
Ability to communicate effectively with learners parents and staff
Ability to lead and supervise groups of students
Respect for and understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds
An engaging and uplifting personality
Willingness to adapt to flexible working hours and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Leading and managing student residence operations
Facilitating educational and life skills programmes for youth
Supervising and mentoring learners within the residence
Handling emergencies and conflict situations professionally
Collaborating with parents staff and other stakeholders to support learners development
Maintaining a safe respectful and supportive environment
Assisting in the establishment and ongoing development of an exceptional educational institution
