Qualification and Requirements
Matric.
Tertiary qualification advantageous.
Proven experience as an External Sales Rep.
Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle - essential
Excellent sales track record.
Role & Responsibilities:
Calling on existing customers
Cold calling on potential customers
Promoting the company
Promoting our products
Training customers in the use of our products
Analysing customer purchases and identifying gaps
Processing quotes
Processing orders
Assisting with customer payment collections
Assisting with stock takes
Participating in internal training
Achieve growth and achieve sales targets.
Implement and maintain a sales system to ensure successful quoting to delivery transition with consideration for the factory planning requirements.
Design and implement a strategic sales and marketing plan that delivers new business growth.
Identify leads manage and call on prospects and acquire new business.
Build and promote strong long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
Achieve budgeted annual and monthly sales performance targets while maintaining budgeted GP.
Present monthly sales reports and realistic forecasts for sales pipeline.
Prepare and deliver quotations and follow up with key decision makers.
Develop and maintain an awareness of market behaviour and competitive trends and respond accordingly.
Regular meetings with managers and the sales teams to review weekly activities progress and pipeline insights to customers.
Provide excellent aftersales support to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
