Job Description
- Research design and development of existing and novel products techniques
- Design and manufacture prototypes products
- Develop safety standards for new products in coordination with SHE
- Comply with Safety Health and Environment standards
- Continuously research hazardous components of the effects of new chemicals explosive materials and products
- Conduct training into the use and handling new products and ensure compliance
- Comply with governance in conjunction with policies and procedures
- Plan and organize projects across the common topic/theme in line with R&D strategy
- Generates Intellectual Property
Qualifications & Experience
- B Engineering / Honours in Chemistry or any related
- Any other relevant technology degree will be added as an essential advantage
- Postgraduate qualification (advantageous)
- 6 - 8 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of chemistry analytical chemistry and or engineering
- Communication and report writing skills
