A leading national institution in the knowledge and heritage sector is seeking a seasoned Change Management Specialist to lead a critical cultural transformation successful candidate will support the implementation of a culture change strategy working closely with the Human Resources team and senior leadership. The goal is to embed long-term sustainable cultural improvements across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing the findings and recommendations of a recent organisational culture survey
- Conducting interviews focus groups and consultations with key stakeholders
- Developing a customised change management plan aligned with strategic objectives
- Facilitating training sessions and workshops to support employee awareness and engagement
- Identifying change champions within departments to support implementation
- Driving initiatives that improve morale communication diversity leadership and inclusivity
- Establishing clear metrics to measure progress and regularly reporting to leadership
- Adjusting strategies based on feedback and assessment results
- Equipping the HR team with tools and frameworks for ongoing monitoring and evaluation
- Documenting lessons learned and delivering a close-out report with a roadmap for sustainability
Requirements
- Master s degree in Organisational Development Human Resources Psychology or a related field (PhD is an advantage)
- At least 10 years experience in change management organisational development or a similar field
- A proven track record in delivering successful cultural transformation projects in either the public or private sector
- Public sector experience is essential
Key skills and competencies:
- Strong knowledge of change management frameworks such as Prosci or Kotter s 8-Step Process
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills across all organisational levels
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage cultural and racial sensitivities with professionalism
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to assess impact and refine interventions
