Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled Developer with strong Ansible experience to join their team in Midrand. This is an exciting 3-month contract (with the possibility of extension for an additional 12 months) offering a dynamic project environment and hands-on technical challenges.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Start Date: ASAP
- Initial Term: 3 months
- Extension Potential: Up to 12 additional months
- Location: On-site in Midrand
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement automated solutions using Ansible.
- Create and maintain playbooks roles and reusable automation scripts.
- Support deployment and configuration management across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps infrastructure and software teams to streamline processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in automated workflows.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Ansible in development or automation projects.
- Solid background in software development (e.g. Python Bash or similar).
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a contract-based role.
