This is an excellent opportunity for a PRODUCT DESIGNER to own the UX and PRODUCT STRATEGY for a first-to-market B2B Agri-Tech platform.
Based in CAPE TOWN (hybrid) this PRODUCT DESIGNER role is paying R840KR960K.

THE ROLE
As the Product Designer youll own the entire design function from research and discovery through to execution and delivery. Youll be the strategic voice behind the product experience translating complex B2B procurement workflows into intuitive user-friendly experiences. This means leading user research mapping journeys building prototypes and collaborating closely with developers to bring scalable production-ready designs to life.
Youll define and maintain the design system ensuring consistency as the product grows. As the sole designer in a small hands-on team youll work directly with developers and business stakeholders giving you real influence over how the product evolves.
This role is ideal for a designer ready to move beyond UI and into full product ownership - designing experiences that simplify procurement for farmers suppliers and buyers while tackling real-world challenges like offline workflow digitisation geolocation-based traceability and access to finance in agriculture.
THE REQUIREMENTS
5 years of experience designing UX for web-based products ideally in B2B or SaaS environments
Strong portfolio showcasing user flows prototypes and design systems
Proficiency in Figma (or similar design/prototyping tools)
Experience conducting user research and usability testing
Comfortable designing for complex workflows and translating them into simple intuitive interfaces
Solid understanding of responsive design and how interfaces translate to code (HTML/CSS/React exposure is a bonus)
