MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Matric
  • B. Comm Degree in Business Administration or relevant degree
  • Minimum of 4 years working experience in a Managerial position in a large Retail environment
  • Experience in Complete store operational management / Staff management / customer service / Merchandising & Analysis of financial reports
  • Highly experienced on WMS & POS Systems etc.
  • Proficient on all MS Office packages with Advanced MS Excel
  • Strong Service Department Skills
  • Strong leadership and customer management skills
  • Valid drivers license (no endorsements)
  • Own reliable vehicle / transport

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

Main duties & Job Function:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the store and ensure smooth and effective running. Maintain constant and effective contact with customers and staff and ensure great customer experiences and monitor the financial performance of the store.

Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities: -

  • Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees following up on work results.
  • Maintains store staff by recruiting selecting orienting and training employees.
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts and maintaining inventories.
  • Markets merchandise by studying advertising sales promotions and display plans.
  • Analyse operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
  • Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures
  • Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
  • Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
  • Maintains operations by initiating coordinating and enforcing program operational and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
