Leave your mark on the home buying experience by joining a progressive UK based property tech company expanding their team in SA!
This role requires an individual with the ability to build and analyze finance models and offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced scale-up this role you will be exposed to various aspects of finance including M&A financial modelling budgeting investor and management reporting and management accounting.
Please note this is an onsite role based in the CBD.
What you will be doing:
- Prepare detailed financial models to assess the viability and financial impact of acquisition targets.
- Support the preparation of investment proposals and presentations for senior management and investors.
- Assist in post-merger integration analysis and financial performance tracking.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and cost control initiatives.
- Implement and enhance financial reporting tools and dashboards for real-time insights.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to evaluate potential business strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics to measure business success.
- Support investor reporting requirements ensuring clear and insightful financial communication.
What you will bring:
- Relevant Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within M&A or FP&A.
- Experience with both building and analyzing financial models
- Preferable experience from the Big 4 and/or investment banking.
- Experience with Power BI is highly desired.
