We are seeking an experienced Administrative Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the Agricultural department services in Piet Retief. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with strong organizational skills and a solid background in financial administration and people management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Matric / Grade 12 (minimum requirement)
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Management or a related discipline
- 57 years proven experience in an administrative or office management role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint)
- Experience with AS400 and/or AGRIS systems (advantageous)
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Afrikaans (advantageous)
- Valid Code 08 Drivers License
- Willingness to travel as required
- Must be based in or open to relocating to Piet Retief
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all administrative functions across the operations.
- Oversee accurate processing of transactions including invoicing sales stock records and credit notes.
- Manage office resources supplies and administrative tools to ensure optimal usage.
- Monitor key operational and financial metrics; compile regular reports for senior management.
- Supervise a multi-site administrative team providing coaching performance reviews and training.
- Develop implement and continuously improve administrative systems processes and policies.
- Ensure effective internal and external communication and maintain document control standards.
- Provide input into the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Track expenses and contribute to cost efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies procedures and compliance standards.
- Support internal audits and risk management processes.
- Assist in the coordination of projects and foster cross-functional collaboration.
- Drive continuous improvement aligned with divisional and company objectives.
Required Experience:
Manager
