Job Description

City of Newcastle (CN) currently has a unique opportunity for an experienced and motivated Inland Pool Delivery Lead to join our Community & Recreation team in this newly created permanent role. Through your work youll have a behind the scenes pass to Newcastles evolution as you shape our future as a liveable inclusive city.
As our Inland Pool Delivery Lead you will drive the successful delivery and implementation of CNs adopted Inland Pools Strategy 2043 (IPS 2043) that recommends an investment strategy for each of the five inland swimming centres to ensure they can operate safely with consideration of facility enhancements to help meet the needs of the community.
Collaborating with team members in Aquatic Services and the Project Management Office youll manage CNs aquatics infrastructure and renewal program guiding projects from inception to completion. Additionally you will design and implement innovative practical solutions that address the complexities of managing a significant infrastructure portfolio.
