Cape Town South Africa Northern suburbs
Industry: Homewares / Retail / E-commerce / Wholesale
Salary: R 480 000 / R 540 000 per annum

About the Role:
As aPlanner youll be at the heart of our supply chain operationsforecasting demand managing inventory and ensuring that our products are always available when and where our customers need them. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams and use your analytical skills to optimize stock levels reduce costs and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Forecasting & Demand Planning:Analyze sales trends market data and promotions to build accurate forecasts across all channels.
  • Inventory Management:Maintain optimal stock levels reduce holding costs and prevent stockouts or overstocks.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:Generate actionable insights and performance reports using advanced Excel and planning tools.
  • Process Improvement:Identify and implement best practices to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.
  • Product & Market Insight: Stay informed of product performance market trends and customer preferences.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with Sales Marketing and Product teams to align plans and share insights.
  • Systems Proficiency: Use ERP and planning systems (e.g. Odoo SAP and JDA) to manage data and streamline operations.

What Youll Need:
  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in demand planning or inventory management (retail experience preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/planning software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience in the homewares industry is a plus.
