CUSTOMER SERVICES CLERK (LOGISTICS / ROAD FREIGHT / TRANSPORT)
GEORGE GARDEN ROUTE DISTRICT
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Salary on offer: R10 000.00 per month
- Matric
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in Customer Service / Logistics Management role
- Experienced in managing all aspects of shipping routes and deliveryspecifically with regards to customer satisfaction & shipment delivery
- Excellent customer service experience(ESSENTIAL)
- Experiencein Logistics / Road Freight / Transport environments(ADVANTAGEOUS)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and track multiple processes simultaneously
- Experience onWinFreight (ADVANTAGEOUS Training will be provided)
- Must have previous experience on any otherFreight System (ESSENTIAL)
- Proficient on all MS Office packages with MS Excel
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans(written & verbal)
- Strong candidate with strong organization & logistics co-ordination abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Drivers Licence (no endorsements)
- Own reliable vehicle or arranged transport
- Working Hours:Monday to Friday: 7 am to 5 pm (willing to work overtime in peak)

Duties & Responsibilities
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
Main duties & Job Function:
- The Customer Services Clerk isresponsible for managing all aspects of shipping routes and deliveryspecifically with regard to Customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction is a priority as this is how business remains successful.
- The Customer Services Clerk must respond immediately to customer questions and complaints and notifying them of any delays in the delivery schedule is essential to this position.
- The Customer Services Clerk will report directly to Transport Manager
Key Performance Areas & Duties:
- Manage orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
- Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Communicate with suppliers retailers and customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
- Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders
- Provide stock backorder/available report to customers to update them on their order progress
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management
- Arrange same-day deliveries whenever possible
- Weekly meetings with Sales team to discuss customer orders credit status and issues.
- Provide a responsive customer service and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Handle all customer queries and claims efficiently
- Supply invoices to customers in advance advising them of proposed loads

Package & Remuneration
