Were looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Store Manager to lead our team and drive success in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Oversee daily store operations including staff scheduling inventory management merchandising and cash handling.
- Ensure visual merchandising standards and store presentation are consistently maintained.
- Drive store profitability through effective cost control stock management and customer engagement.
- Recruit train and develop in-store staff.
- Monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Implement promotional campaigns and monitor performance against KPIs.
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Minimum 35 years of experience as a Retail Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a successful retail team.
- Knowledge of stock management shrinkage control and merchandising principles.
- Customer-focused mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Computer literate (POS systems MS Office).
- Matric essential; relevant tertiary qualification in Retail Business or Management will be an advantage.
