Vice President of Engineering

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Delivery
-
Architect UWB wireless protocols for on-field devices
-
Oversee embedded firmware (STM32 RTOS sensors power optimization)

Ensure scalability and performance across the software stack

Promote DevOps and CI/CD for embedded/cloud
Organizational Leadership
-
Scale the engineering team from Series A to Series B
-
Mentor hardware firmware and systems engineers
-
Align engineering with company-wide strategy
Innovation & Architecture
-
Lead R&D on tracking and localization (UWB-based)
-
Define firmware and RF architecture
-
Ensure regulatory compliance and robustness
Ideal Candidate Profile
-
10 years in embedded systems and wireless comms
-
Built and scaled proprietary wireless protocols
-
Expert in C/C STM32 and RTOS
-
Familiarity with radar/ranging/localization systems
-
Deep knowledge of OSI layers performance optimization
-
Experience scaling teams in high-growth startups
-
Excellent communicator across disciplines
-
Passion for sports and real-time systems
Nice to Have

Background in high-volume hardware or wearables

Experience with AWS/GCP and real-time analytics

Industry experience in sports-tech IoT aerospace or automotive
