Job Description
Introduction
Our client is looking for a M&A Associate to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a professional and hardworking team who takes pride in the quality of their services.
Requirements include:
- Degree level qualifications in Economics Business Finance Accounting Investments or similar (Essential)
- CA(SA) or CFA or MBA (Highly advantageous)
- 3-5 years of experience in a corporate finance / transaction advisory / private equity space
Duties:
- Preparing pitches and presentations for origination and deal implementation activities
- Creating and maintain financial models and perform valuations for M&A and capital raising transactions
- Preparing selling documents for transactions - information memos and teasers
- Supporting the deal due diligence process including managing the dataroom and bidder information requests
- Assisting in the preparation of other transaction documents and coordinating with other advisors where required
- Engaging with clients and potential bidders and investors
