Job Description

FCS

Reporting to the Regional Manager

The above position is vacant at our Hermanstad Branch. The surveillance officer function is to continuously look at the cash centers under their sphere of responsibility to identify procedural failures and possible risk exposure to Fidelity Cash Management

Minimum Requirements:

  • Clear criminal record
  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Certificate.
    • Minimum of 2 years of cash center experience in the specific working area
    • Experience in Cash Center
    • Computer literate
    • Able to work under pressure
    • Physically fit
    • Must be a team player.

    • Must be honest and reliable and of good health.

    • Willing to work long hours/overtime/Nightshift due to job requirements.

    Job Specification:

    • Observation of live footage of cash center personnel during the shift.

    • Viewing that searching of all Cash Centre personnel and or anyone entering or exciting the cash center is done properly and in accordance with laid down policies and procedures as recorded in the searching procedure.

    • View to observe access Control within the cash center are strictly adhered to.

    • No unauthorized personnel are allowed in the cash center.

    • The inside of the cash center door always needs to be locked and the key to the cash center to be kept with the most senior person on duty for the shift in the cash center.

    • Viewing conducted over branches to ensure safeguarding of Cash Centre staff and clients assets.

    • Viewing of the cleaning of site by cash center staff.

    • Viewing to ensure all waste that leaves the cash center is being searched as recorded in the policies and procedures as well as all work instructions.

    • When any irregularities are found in any branch under your responsibility the Manager must be informed telephonically when it poses a risk for cash losses or breach of procedures.

    • Upon starting your shift ensure that all areas under the worktops are clean and clutter free.
