Ensure alignment with business architecture framework and strategy around people process and technology understanding what the SDLC requires.
Determine design and facilitate the correct business solution by engaging all relevant stakeholders and SMEs across business functions prioritising client needs.

Compile functional specifications from the business solution and use cases/scope items for developers using the business requirements in collaboration with architects:

Deliver use cases activity and sequence diagrams to model solutions for the technical team.
Represent information in formats that stakeholders can understand aligned to the SDLC followed.
Model the data requirements to support the new solution at a functional level.
Investigate and analyse current business problems offering recommendations:
Automation/enhancements/fixes
Operational readiness and support
Maintain traceability and attribute matrices using Enterprise Architect tools.
System Understanding & Reusability
Understand current and in-progress systems/technical capabilities:
Operating Model and Business Capabilities
Re-usable Custom and Vendor components
Integration capabilities
Identify reusable components in new/enhancement designs and avoid unnecessary custom solutions.

Formal Education:
3/4-year IT or Business qualification
Experience:
Mandatory:
5 years experience in the Short Term Commercial Insurance domain
7 years Business Analysis experience
Optional:
IIBA membership (preferred)
CBAP certification
