Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities ensuring that orders and returns are processed timeously and accurately.
- Coordinate daily logistics planning fleet management and delivery schedules to meet customer expectations.
- Manage and improve stock control including receiving labeling bin location management and daily stock counts.
- Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with company procedures health and safety standards.
- Lead and motivate the warehouse team ensuring productivity and high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct regular reporting on operational activities queries and stock figures.
- Monitor and resolve claims delivery delays and problematic parcels promptly.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and compliance with OHASA requirements.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- National Diploma or higher in Logistics Supply Chain Management or Business Administration (advantageous).
- Minimum of 35 years experience in warehouse or distribution management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities with the ability to work under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP or stock management systems.
