Key Responsibilities
Management & Business Expansion
- Team Leadership
Lead and oversee the Marketing and Procurement team to ensure alignment with strategic goals and supplier/client expectations. - Client Acquisition & Relationship Building
Identify new business opportunities expand client networks and nurture long-term relationships across domestic and international markets. - Price Negotiation & Commercial Strategy
Handle direct negotiations with clients and growers to secure competitive pricing and drive profitability.
- Seasonal Forecasting
Deliver precise crop estimates before and after harvest. - Harvest & Packing Oversight
Ensure efficient and high-quality picking packing and dispatching operations. - Quality Risk Mitigation
Minimize unsound deliveries through proactive orchard and packhouse controls. - Food Safety Compliance
Ensure all operations meet regulatory and client-driven safety standards. - Producer Support
Provide in-field technical assistance to enhance product quality and grower outcomes. - Administration & Reporting
Oversee accurate grower documentation and internal reporting processes. - Procurement of Grapes
Source and secure high-quality fruit from producers across the region. - Grower Network Expansion
Build and maintain long-term relationships with top growers.

Minimum Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Agriculture or related discipline
- 57 years experience in the fruit export or agricultural sector
- Technical knowledge of Grapes required; Grape experience beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to lead across procurement production and quality teams
