About the Opportunity

Is this you

Youre a qualified Electrical or Mechatronic Engineer with solid experience in PLC programming and automation. Youve likely spent a few years in a manufacturing or machinery environment developing and testing complex control systems. You can interpret electrical schematics with ease and have hands-on experience with commissioning and servicing automated equipment. Youre confident working independently but also know when to collaborate. Travelling for work excites you especially when it means being part of international high-tech projects where you see your solutions come to life.

What youll be doing

Youll design and test industrial software applications (think PLCs HMIs) configure servo and frequency inverters and handle electrical installation commissioning and servicing of packaging machinery. Youll be part of the full machine-building process including travel to international client sites for commissioning projects expect a few trips to Europe or the US annually. Youll play a key role in developing solutions for automation projects and ensuring seamless integration and performance of machines.

Youll join a young talented team with a hands-on engineering-first mindset working closely with experts across disciplines.

What youll need

A Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering is essential as is a valid drivers licence and willingness to travel frequently. You should have experience developing ladder logic for PLCs reading schematics and ideally 23 years in complex PLC applications. Bonus points if you speak basic Afrikaans or Dutch.
