Job Description
Introduction
Our client seeks to appoint an experiencedNarrow Web Flexographic Printerwith proven experience operating Mark Andy 2200 or similar presses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate narrow web flexo presses
- Produce high-quality materials across a range of substrates
- Monitor registration ink densities and die cutting to ensure top-tier results
- Conduct routine maintenance and press checks
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and keep downtime to a minimum
- Work collaboratively with the prepress and finishing teams
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years experience running narrow web flexographic printing presses
- Hands-on experience with Mark Andy 2200 or similar is essential
- Strong understanding of print quality standards color accuracy and press efficiency
- Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Ability to work shifts own transport is preferable
- Matric/Grade12 a technical printing qualification would be advantageous
