This is an opportunity to join their central technology team and play a pivotal role in supporting the specialized systems that underpin their critical oncology services directly contributing to positive patient outcomes.
Performance Objectives for Year One
- Process & Stability Enhancement: Within the first nine months lead the analysis and re-engineering of a critical support process within the Oncology IT environment. The goal is to proactively identify root causes of recurring issues resulting in a significant reduction in system incidents and demonstrably improved satisfaction among clinical end-users.
- Project Delivery Leadership: Successfully manage the IT infrastructure and application support stream for at least one major system enhancement or new practice implementation. This includes ensuring on-time delivery managing business expectations and facilitating a seamless operational transition for clinical staff with minimal disruption.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management Overhaul: Within the first year redesign and implement a robust vendor and stakeholder engagement model. This will involve establishing clear communication protocols performance dashboards and SLA monitoring to drive better performance from 3rd party suppliers and ensure faster more effective resolution of all severity 1 and 2 incidents.
- Governance and Security Remediation: Conduct a comprehensive review of the Oncology systems data security privacy and governance posture. Following this review you will develop and execute a clear action plan to address and close all IT-related audit findings ensuring full compliance with healthcare data protection standards.
