Onboarding Specialist (Amazon Sellers)
Location: Remote (South Africa preferred LATAM open)
Compensation: $1500 $2200 USD/month
Industry: E-commerce / Amazon Account Management
Schedule: Full-time Long-term role Mo-Fr 9-5 EST
About the Role
We re hiring an Onboarding Specialist to act as the bridge between new Amazon seller clients and our internal team. You ll work closely with brands many of whom are new to Amazon guiding them through a smooth onboarding process in a clear patient and non-salesy manner.
This role requires someone who can demystify the Amazon setup process flag missing requirements and coordinate seamlessly with internal specialists to ensure the client is fully launch-ready within the first 6 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing the discovery sheet from Amazon to understand each client s current Amazon setup and unique needs.
- Identify gaps (e.g. missing barcodes certifications or compliance elements) and recommend actionable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with clients to gather all required information and assets for account setup.
- Guide clients step-by-step through the onboarding process ensuring they feel confident and supported.
- Maintain regular communication with internal Catalog Specialists to escalate or resolve any issues.
- Ensure a smooth transition from onboarding to the operations team.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and listing fundamentals.
- Excellent verbal and written English (clear professional and patient communicator).
- Prior experience onboarding clients or guiding brands through Amazon setup is highly preferred.
- Ability to prioritize urgency as related to time management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot challenges and maintain client confidence.
- Self-starter with a proactive consultative approach.
