Salary: $30-$35/HR
Shift: days afternoons

We re looking for a talented Diesel/CNG Technician to join a skilled and supportive team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in keeping vehicles running safely and efficiently solving mechanical challenges and mentoring others along the way. If you re experienced with diesel and CNG systems enjoy hands-on problem-solving and want to be part of a team that values your expertise this is the role for you.

What You ll Do

  • Troubleshoot repair and maintain diesel and CNG vehicles including engines electrical systems fuel and propane systems hydraulics and more.
  • Conduct thorough inspections on brakes engine components emissions systems steering wheel bearings and other critical parts.
  • Mentor and guide junior mechanics to build a strong knowledgeable team.
  • Manage and prioritize repair work to keep service orders on track.
  • Review maintenance reports and coordinate repair schedules efficiently.
  • Perform DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.
  • Keep accurate work orders reports and parts records.
  • Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean organized work area.
  • Read and interpret technical schematics and diagnostic information.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to expand your skills.

What We re Looking For

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in diesel and CNG vehicle maintenance.
  • In-depth knowledge of DOT OSHA and other applicable regulations.
  • Brake Safety Certification and 609 A/C certification required; ASE certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to read interpret and apply technical manuals schematics and diagnostic data accurately.
  • Comfortable using diagnostic software and eager to learn new systems.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members customers and vendors.
  • Class A or B CDL preferred.
