Job Description
Duration: 1 year extendable
The role requires close collaboration with pathologists to design and execute image analysis workflows tailored to biological questions as well as working with computational and data scientists across various departments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a passion for interdisciplinary collaboration are essential.
MUST-HAVE Qualifications
- Background and experience in computer sciences with a strong interest in biomedical sciences.
- Proficient programming skills in Python including standard packages for image segmentation and statistical analysis.
- Comfort with iterative design processes and openness to frequent feedback.
- Strong communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
- Enthusiasm for working closely with and supporting team members.
- BS MS or PhD-level scientist.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in developing algorithms for digital pathology whole slide image analysis
- Experience with commercial digital pathology software (e.g. HALO)
- Experience in biomedical microscopy and/or image analysis
- Skills in R MATLAB and statistical analysis
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch TensorFlow and Keras.
- Experience with Amazon EC2 cloud computing
