Job Description
Job Title: Java Solution Architect (Spring Boot Microservices Angular Kubernetes 10 yrs exp)
Location: Blvd NE Atlanta (Onsite - Local Metro Atlanta Candidate)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and architecture of large or complex Java-based projects including migrations and enhancements to existing systems.
- Collaborate with architects and technical leads to define best practices and coding standards.
- Translate business and technical requirements into detailed design and functional solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with design parameters and standards.
- Develop custom Java applications as part of an Agile team.
- Author technical documentation including architecture diagrams data flows and specifications.
- Mentor and guide junior team members in development troubleshooting and best practices.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in enterprise software development.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering IT or related field.
- 10 years of IT experience with strong expertise in Core Java and enterprise architectures.
- Proficiency in Java development frameworks: Struts Spring Hibernate.
- Experience in distributed Java J2EE SOA middleware JSP JSTL JMS JDBC JAXB Maven Log4j JUnit.
- Solid JavaScript skills with frameworks such as JQuery and DOJO.
- Strong XML technologies: XSD XPath XQuery XSLT.
- Proven experience with Web Services (SOAP RESTful WSDL XML) microservices architecture Spring Boot Docker Kubernetes.
- CI/CD pipeline expertise.
- Front-end experience with AngularJS 2 creating reusable and testable components/modules.
- Knowledge of single sign-on (SSO) and security best practices including OWASP Top Ten.
- Experience in full-stack development across multiple platforms (mainframe client-server web).
- Excellent communication analytical and documentation skills.
- Ability to multitask stay organized and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Communicating technical aspects of recent projects including the technologies used and the reasoning behind their selection.
- Explaining work history clearly with concise and accurate technical answers about previous experiences.
- Secure coding techniques including OWASP Top Ten and other security best practices.
- Core coding techniques-what to use when why and why not.
