Job Description
Licensed Practical Nurse Home Care (Contract Role)
Location: Newark NJ
Pay Rate: $30-$35/hr
- Provide direct nursing care according to patient care plans.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist with wound care catheter care and other routine nursing duties.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance practices.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure a safe clean and supportive home environment.
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families.
- Valid LPN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferably in home care or long-term care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care instructions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
