Job Description
Job Summary (List Format):
- Automate creation of golden OS images (primarily Windows) using Packer including pre-installed configurations security hardening and required agents.
- Manage the lifecycle of OS images and deploy standardized images to platforms such as VMware vSphere.
- Provision and manage infrastructure across multiple environments using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- Implement and maintain Continuous Configuration Automation (CCA) with Ansible and Terraform to ensure systems remain in the desired state and reduce configuration drift.
- Automate software delivery and installation for key infrastructure components including antivirus and middleware.
- Integrate automated workflows with services such as backup monitoring logging antivirus and CMDB.
- Ensure all systems are fully operational and meet readiness criteria post-deployment.
- Integrate with monitoring platforms and create automation triggers for incident and event response.
- Enforce compliance with security standards (e.g. CIS benchmarks encryption policies) using policy-as-code tools.
- Utilize scripting languages (Python Bash Java or PowerShell) for automation and customization of workflows.
- Leverage tools such as JFrog Artifactory CyberArk and HashiCorp Vault for artifact and secrets management.
