Job Description
Position: Radiation Therapist -Oncologist
Start Date: 12/15/2025
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Petoskey MI 49770
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 8
Shift Notes: 40-hour guarantee - Shift times - shifts would be 8 hours Mon Fri 8-4:30 p.m.
Weekend Requirements: None
On-Call Requirements: None
COVID Requirement: n/a
Traveler Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 35-mile radius restriction)
Dress Code: Scrubs of any color

Further Specifics:
- Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
- OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
** The client has incorporated a strict 3 strike attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed in favor of the contractor. This policy will begin on 6/1/2024.
- Responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through radiation therapy treatments.
- Perform treatment simulations fabricate all necessary shielding blocks and maintain accurate EMR.
- Prepares equipment for patient treatments performs quality control and assurance tests ensures proper infection control techniques and adheres to optimal radiation safety and protection practices. All activities reflect the philosophy goals objectives and standards of the client and nationally accepted standards of practice provisions of quality patient care environmental safety and interdisciplinary cooperation.
- Maintains professional working relationships with medical staff.
- 2 years of experience - Required
- ARRT (T) - Required
- 1 year travel experience required OR work experience (post-graduation) with Varian and ARIA - Required
- TrueBeam ARIA Trilogy experience - preferred
