Job Description
Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Tamarac FL
Duration: Fulltime
Skills required:
- The Manufacturing Engineer will oversee the design of production machinery and will identify and recommend solutions to production problems related to materials processes and tooling.
- 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Project management experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization both oral and written
- Ability to lead teams both direct and indirectly
- Ability to understand company vision and apply it at the detail level
Manager intake notes:
- Department provides support to operations. Production Quality Material Handling thru the different work centers Welding & Assembly
- Support manufacturing
- Knowledge of bill materials Routers work instructions features and jigs
- They have a pool of engineers specialized in welding and equipment some have processing engineer that takes care of design and troubleshooting design
- License between product engineering and production floor
- Provide support to specific tasks
- Creating solutions to specific challenges
Education:
BS degree in Mechanical Manufacturing Industrial Engineering or equivalent
