Business Analyst Cybersecurity Identity and Access Management

Client is seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to join our IT Cybersecurity NERC CIP Compliance this role youll play a crucial part in supporting our operational Identity and Access Management (IAM) program working cross-functionally to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.

What Youll Do:

As a Business Analyst youll collaborate closely with IT compliance analyst Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to:

  • Execute NEEs role lifecycle management program processes.
  • Support various IAM activities including reviews and certifications.
  • Develop and maintain essential IAM program documentation and training materials.
  • Generate and compile IAM-related reports from diverse systems.
  • Perform critical data analysis across different datasets to support role lifecycle management and other IAM processes identifying potential issues or anomalies.

What Were Looking For:

  • Education: A Bachelors degree especially in a related field like information security.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in managing and updating IT process workflows and documentation.
    • Prior work experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) programs or teams is preferred.
    • While pre-existing knowledge of NERC CIP Security standards isnt required youll be expected to quickly become familiar with and understand key NERC CIP Standards requirements particularly CIP-004 to effectively support the IT NERC CIP compliance team.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) with a strong emphasis on Excel DAX formulas and Power Query for data comparisons and analysis.
    • Experience in performing data and process analysis to identify issues anomalies or as part of operational controls.
    • Proficiency in creating and designing Power BI files is a plus but not required.
