Job Description
Position: Travel ER RN
Shift: Mids (3p 3a)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Type: Travel Contract
Location: Poplar Bluff MO 63902
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
- Required Certifications: ACLS PALS BLS NIHSS SAMA (or equivalent)
- Preferred Certifications: TNCC ENPC
- EMR: Cerner
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
Job Overview:
As a Travel Emergency Room RN you will hold shift accountability for providing care to ER patients using the Nursing Process in line with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. You will:
- Rapidly assess patient conditions and assign Emergency Severity Index (ESI)
- Provide immediate life-saving interventions
- Stabilize critical patients and administer medications
- Coordinate with healthcare teams for timely appropriate care
- Maintain competencies through ongoing education
- Delegate care based on staff experience and provide supervision as needed
Additional Notes:
- Shift: Mids 3:00 PM 3:00 AM
- 48-hour weekly guarantees NOT available
- Block scheduling may be considered request in submittal
